History

On 25 August 1997, ERL was awarded a concession to finance, design, construct, operate and maintain the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit services as well as other ancillary activities related to railway services for 30 years.

KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit started their operation on 1 June 2002.
